The King’s Arms is a family-owned, dog-friendly country pub with boutique bedrooms and charming cottages, nestled in the stunning Cotswolds countryside. We’re ideally located in the pretty village of Didmarton, just 5 minutes drive from Westonbirt Arboretum and within easy reach of Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham.

We offer the finest local produce in our seasonal menus, accompanied by an inviting selection of cask ales, craft beer, local cider and a wide range of wines, served in our welcoming restaurant or relaxed bar.

Our homemade dishes are created using the finest seasonal and local produce, whether you’re enjoying a relaxing brunch, a quick lunch, a sociable dinner or a leisurely Sunday roast.

Behind the bar, you’ll find an impressive range of cask ales, craft beer, local cider and an inviting selection of wines.

Outside, our beer garden is ideal for alfresco drinking and dining, making it perfect for a laid-back family lunch or a couple of pints with friends in the sunshine.

Our ever-evolving seasonal menu offers a wonderful range of dishes, with fresh daily specials and an imaginative selection of lighter snacks.

We use the freshest, locally sourced produce and all of our game is directly from the neighbouring country estates that surround us, including our exquisite Badminton venison.

Sundays are important to us here at The King’s Arms. Our roasts are made with fresh field-to-fork ingredients and the finest local produce, alongside delicious Bloody Marys, indulgent desserts and a board game or two.

Combining modern comfort with rustic elegance in the beautiful Cotswolds, each of our stylish bedrooms has its own individual character. Named after the prize-winning hounds from the nearby Beaufort Hunt, each room includes sumptuous features such as king-size beds, ivory sheepskin rugs and luxurious Feather & Black mattresses and duvets, which ensure a relaxing and comfortable night’s sleep.

At The King’s Arms, dogs are very much part of the family. We have a selection of dog-friendly ensuite bedrooms and charming cottages, just let us know that you’re bringing your dog when you book and we’ll make sure your four-legged friend feels right at home.

With glorious Cotswold walks starting right from our doorstep, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds together before heading back for a warm welcome, a delicious meal and a well-earned rest.
